HopFarm . . .


"working at a Festival is way better than paying to go to one". 
Everyone that worked for Workers Beer.


WHY:

1. You get in for free.
2. Two free meals a day.
3. Two free drinks every shift you work. (the workers pour your drink you normally get double the alcohol you should).
4. The most you will work in a day is 6 hrs.
5. All your wages goes towards the charity you working for.
6. You make SOOOOOO many good friends. 
7. You live none stop, never bored. 
8. You don't even miss much of the festival, the hardest thing you have to do is deal with drunks.

I spent ............ on the whole of HOPFARM.    

£17.20 Megabus return Manchester to London.

£4.25 Victoria station to the Bus Station (where the free bus leaves)

£5 sermoseres

£3 milkshake

£3 Flower headband

£5 program.

2. 

Granted... Breakfast was a englich breakfast on a Barm, etc. Sausage, Bacon, Egg, Hash Brown, Veggie Sausage. Tea / Coffee. 

And Tea was either Chicken / Burger

with either, rice / pasta / chips. 

you guessed it..... on a Barm.

Carbohydrate heaven. 

But it was free.

3. 

Lack of food means 2 drink tokens got you quite drunk. 

And if you went to a friend or nice person working yu could geta  triple JD and coke instead of a tiny single with stacks of ice.

All free.

If you know the right people you can get 3 drinks for a drinks token.

4. 

6 hours isn't even that long.

Saturday -  6pm - 11pm.

Sunday - 11am - 6pm.

Monday - 6pm - 11pm.

working whist Brandon Flowers is seranading you from the main stage is the BEST job in the world.

'working' while dancing to 'Brightside' is a treat. 

The drunk people love ti whe you dance and look happy. Dancing like a loon gets you tips.

And make friends with the people tat get paid to work there was a great past time. 

Flirting and getting free drinks and phone numbers is a plus!

Doing something GOOD

and if you actually beliebe your charity deserves it, you feel so much better.

I liked knowig that I was having a fab time and my money was goign towards a REALLY good cause.

I dont know wthats better than giving people water.

Ring of Fire on the first night.
Amazing poeple you meet.
Friends : Gooch, Dev, Ben, Sophie, Alex, Cooper, Joe and Chalex.
All so lovely.
Spent the whole 4 days with them, getting drunk and working and enjoying the wonder that is PRINCE.

What is there to say.
Hardly any sleep.
Camping with friends.
Ultimate drinking games.

I still managed to see Newton even though I was working.
Prince and Morrisery.
I think I missed about 2 people I really wanted to see. But you can't complain it's FREE.

So I worked for the charity 'Water Aid'. 
All the money I should have been paid went to the charity which use practical solutions to provide safe water, effective sanitation and hygiene education to the world’s poorest people. We also seek to influence policy at national and international levels.


A great way to raise money for Charity while still having a holiday with a group of people who are all after the same thing.
